Galapishan Chronicles - IIEarly morning sunshine embraced the village of Green Bryre on the southern most tip of Galapishan. Located only a few hundred meters from the beach, the bustling ocean side village enjoyed many warm days followed by the most dazzling sunsets in all the land. Gentle waves lapped the sandy shoreline while a few fishing canoes bobbled up and down in the ocean. A group of five children laughed and played in the shallow water of the inlet. Their games of tag and hide and go seek among the sandbars amused their mothers sitting under a canopy of palm leaves. Stars scattered across a dark expanse of sky, their ancient light shimmering and blinking down upon the earth. The moon cast its silvery blanket of light over a wide opening in the dense forest below. All was pleasant in the meadow, bathed with moonlight. An owl, perched peacefully in a pine tree, watched for the first sign of a meal. His large pupils scanned over the waving grass. A slight warm wind blew from the west, bringing inviting scents of flowers and sweet dew from the land.
